I fell in love with Santorini the first time I visited it, 20 years
ago. I created SAFOWI to share my passion for the island, it's
food, wine and lifestyle. That first visit inspired me to pursue a culinary degree back home in the San Francisco Bay area, and then
I put myself to work in the kitchen. After years of catering and restaurant experience both in California and Santorini, I began to cultivate my knowledge of local products and to turn my attention
to the local explosion in the exciting Greek wine scene. During my visits to California I furthered my education in California wines, receiving my certification as a California Wine Appellation Specialist. Now after 15 years living on
Santorini, I offer comprehensive and relatable adventures to those intrepid visitors who
want to take home more than a souvenir...
